Bruce made it here today in a 4x4 so it gave Jill inspiration. This afternoon she dug out the driveway. Rob even managed to help for a bit, whilst holding onto the car.
It took hours and we managed to get the car out of the drive and into the turning bay. But that is where we came unstuck as we kept either getting stuck or sliding back into the driveway. We gave up!
We did have a problem as the drains blocked Bruce helped with drainage rods but we think it is just frozen up. Stinky though
Bruce did a bit on tidying cables ready for putting a wall up and almost finished the window ledge for the bathroom that Jill has wanted since June! He also started looking at the rotten joists on the landing under the window.
It was a stunning sunset over the snow .
