Jolly along the coast

The ferry was actually very calm and we got in smack on time at 7am. Pretty good with the time change.

We got breakfast and then went North round the coast doing the scenic route.  We started at Fraserburgh where we had distant views of a a Ross's Gull in flight. Never seen so many cormorants passing through before.

It was cold and snowed on and off but it didn't settle.  I sited some new places included Pennan, Covie and Gardenstown, where we got a lovely coffee.

We stopped for the afternoon. Jill got lost looking for the burd feeders but found them eventually, no thanks to a local who sent her about 4 miles the wrong way!

Just a quick stop but had good views of Crested Tits. It was good to catch up on some more common birds not so common on Shetland.

Opportunistic bunny!

After a smashing Indian meal it was check in time at the travelodge. Just for tonight as it is cheap.
