Taking it careful

 It was a glorious day with lots of sun, so we left Jim up top painting the outside....


(It will be better when we can remove the scaffolding as the starlings use it as a big tree!) and Bruce was in the parlour with a screwdriver. He was doing some more if the woodwork.


We had to go to Tesco and went to give Jewsons one last chance on the kitchens that we had hoped to get ex display. We now urgently need the one for the guests kitchen.
It appears they are still unsure when, so we made the decision to go to the Garriocks closing down sale. Rob went in his pj's. This one, hopefully, will be the new guest one.

And this one, ours.



Hopefully these will go to plan.
We did briefly stop on the pier and found 2 Iceland gulls.





And some Herring gulls.

We arrived home to the most stunning view of Foula.
