A bit better

We along with half the island, we have covid. Possibly from one of the builders but hey ho. Thank you for all the kind thoughts coming our way.

Jill circumbed first. It was like switching a light on, one minute fine, next feeling terrible. Luckily no loss of taste (except coffee) but things smell weird.

Jill felt a bit better today but really tired. Managed to do one mammoth task.  1 painted door catch. Believe me that's a big deal. Needs some tidying up!

Our lovely neighbours popped by with some lemon and honey ( and chocolate, Jill had a craving for Chocolate) Bruce and Kaila both seem to be shaking it quicker than us but we had just recovered from flu, pneumonia and chest infections. To be fair we were well worried about Robs health and Covid but he does seem to be getting better. We are so lucky with our super kind neighbours. We'd buy them some beers , which is always a modern day default than you, but they don't drink either.

Interestingly we received a lovely hand written letter, to the householder, telling us how much God cared for us the day we tested positive. Hmmmm.

Realised I hadn't put up a photo of the stud work Bruce did before going off sick.
