Layers

 Bruce was working at his previous job today so it was just Michael.

First job was v-lining the bit in the new corridor to match it up. It certainly finishes the look.

It looks very smart now.

Michael then cleared the room and laid plywood to insulate.

Then we laid the floor out to acclimatise to the room temperature. We will put Underlay down underneath it.

Jill sanded the piece of skirting from the stairs and undercoated it while it's off. The wood underneath also got a coat of wall paint so it will blend when it is put back on. The undercoat is starting to go sticky so Jill also did a bit of the stairs so it doesn't get wasted. Also, some more nails got banged in and filled to tidy the panelling a bit more

We had Christine come round this afternoons with some suggestions for making life easier for Rob. We will be putting a chair and handle in the shower.

We then popped to have Robs foot checked, it is definately getting better, and then went to the shop to book tickets for Burns night.
