Dried out, but

As promised, here are a couple of yesterday's  floodwater shots.

The house is nearly dried  out but to be fair this seemed a bit irrelevant. Rob was very ill over the night, had several falls and clearly wasn't well.

We called an ambulance at lunchtime after another 2 falls and as he seemed not to be able to stand.  Jill ws very gratefully to Mi hael and Bruce who helped get him back on a chair. They came very quickly and the rest of the day he has been thoroughly checked over with scans and xrays and lots of swabs.

The sunrise driving over was beautiful.

By 9pm they were getting a picture. He has one bacterial and one viral marker one of which they think is pneumonia. ( Thank you Logan air). He also has bruising and dehydration. We haven't yet had xray and scan results.

Jill got home to her new meds about 10pm. Jill has a chest infection ( Thank you again loganair) and a new inhaler.

It was however the most stunning night skies ever with a hint of red aurora.

  1. Sounds like you're going through a tough time at the moment. Best wishes to you both for a fast and full recovery. I appreciate the fact that despite everything you're dealing with, you still take the time to blog. Those sunrise images are stunning.
