We can see clearly now...........

 Actually, no, the rain hasn't gone but the new windows and doors are here.

It took Michael, with a helping hand from Patrick, two trips to pick them up but they are now stored in the stable. Tomorrow he can start putting them in. 


We chose the colour as it is the same as the existing front door and we were told by the council it was a traditional Shetland colour. They should last a very long time as they were hand crafted from hardwood to withstand the weather here.
 
Rob had his final appointment with the hospital today for his eye procedure. His cataract will be fixed in early October.

The Heather on the island is just starting to lose its colour but it has been a wonderful show.
