Next steps

 Michael started on the porch to get ready to put in the new front door. We were hoping to save the panelling but it was rotten and had some woodworm so it had to go. Underneath we found there had been a 2nd front door at some point. 





It took a bit longer to prepare than we thought but hopefully the door can go in tomorrow.

Jill worked on another door and frame stripping paint.

The conservation officer came to see the house to give us guidance on building consent. Lovely lady and very helpful. We now know what we need to do to get it right.

Rob had his bandage changed again. Its healing very slowly. We popped to Dale on the way back and Jill found 3 willow Warblers, 2 pied flycatchers and two chiffchaff. Brief viewings of otter an the gannets where having fun with a Schools of fish near the surface
