Surfs up

 Lovely day again today.

Rob has two hospital appointments today so we headed off mid morning. One was for his foot and one for his eyes. He has just about seen every department now!

We  didn't fancy a sandwich so went to our favourite place for lunch. Fjara.

Michael carried on with the plasterboard and put another window in. The house gets a bit warmer with every window.

After his second appointment ( with a bird watching consultant) we headed out to see if we could catch up with some wildlife. Hoswick/Swinnister burn didn't have anything but it was good to bump into our friend Anne. It is her patch so she was a super guide and showed Jill a few of her favourite spots. It's a lovely area.

We then headed back via Gulberwick as a drake Surf Scoter had been spotted. This was a first for Jill in the UK ( we had them in Canada). Luckily it was viewable and stayed for a little while before being flushed by a nosy seal.

We didn't need to stay long so we  popped to Tesco. One of our neighbours has covid and fancied a pork pie, so we picked one up too.
