We had a good trip to Aberdeen. Robs appointment went well and we got some answers about where his shoulder is at - nearly three years late. We also got lots of shopping done. We sourced floor tiles, stove and some light fittings.
The patterned tiles will be for the hallway and entrance. The long wood effect tiles will go in the porch.
Unfortunately we found a lighting shop with far too much choice but have picked the ones for the landing this time.
The ferry was quite rough to start but the later part was very calm. The sunrise this morning was beautiful.
We disembarked and decided to look for some migrants so headed to the Sound, Grutness, Sumburgh and Quendale. We had a good count of Flycatchers, Siskin, Snipe, willow warblers, Chiffcaffs, Lesser Whitethroat, Wood Warbler and Bonellis Warbler ( our friend Anne found this one again), also a passing Sparrowhawk.
