The weather was quite nice today so Jill did some outdoor bits and bobs, including cutting the field. 6000 steps just cutting the grass.
We then popped out for the afternoon to find the Rosy Starling that had been seen in Lerwick. It was in a garden so we did see it fly but not perched up. Lots of House Sparrows, Gulls and Starlings though. It was fun watching the House Sparrows drinking from a dogs water supply
We missed some pictures off the blog on Friday as we ran out of time and the broadband was really slow. The lovely owner of Beth's Peerie Garden at Sandigarth offered me some crocosmia so we had a quick visit to pick it up.
Beth opens her stunning garden to the public. It is a pint sized amazing oasis of wildlife haven.
