We had stuff loads of rain overnight and thunder and lightening. At least the new trees got a good water! It carries on til mid morning when unfortunately a lightening strike took our power out again, just us.
Couldn't do much all day especially as it continued to drizzle on and off all day and we had lots of fog.
The fog disappeared for a bit.
The power came back on just before 6pm after an afternoon of quite a few porkies from SSE. At one point both of us were on the phone talking to different service desk people who were apparently on the system at the same time but clearly saying the opposite if each other. Can't see what the point is in giving incorrect information when all you want is to put the kettle on!
