Almost Watertight

Michael was up on the roof again as the new rooflights had arrived. The first one is now in and he has been working on checking the tiles and making sure the roof is watertight. The old nails had rotted away so there wasn't much holding the tiles on.

Hopefully the roof will be finished either tomorrow or Monday the it is just sorting the chimneys out.

Rob had his foot checked today and so we popped in to Northlink to order our island concession cards for ferry discounts. They have lovely stainglass windows

Back home the weather was beautiful but windy so Jill popped down to wave watch. Lovely rainbow. The pot of gold is at our neighbours house.

There were a few birds about.

Then it was off to the village quiz were we came a very reasonable 3rd out of 8. On the way home we saw our first polecat and a reasonable aurora.
