Gradually getting through the pile of rubbish that we have found everywhere and taking scrap metal to the tip.. the garden us definately looking less cluttered!
Jill stripped a door before heading over to Franks as he had a booklet in dry stone walling for us and for Patrick next door. He was a bit worried that his dog might of upset the cats. Not at all, they need to get more used to dogs as we do get a few doggy visitors.
Then it was back to the hospital for visiting hours. Rob is looking much better and wants to come home but the Doctor persuaded him to stay longer to recover more. They are very busy but give such good care.
Jill left a bit late so didn't have much time this evening but did quickly stop at the Knab in Lerwick for a wander. She found 2 pairs of nesting black guillimots and of course fulmars. The ferry went out whilst watching the guillimots.
On the way home, Jill spotted a distant family if red-breasted mergansers at the Bridge of Walls.
Then there was lots of activity near AnnifirthAt home Jill got confirmation from our friend, Alan, ( and previous owner) that the house, bizarrely, is now officially ours. 4 months late. The legal system for house buying up here doesn't really work!
Wow that red eel the black guillemot has ! Get well Rob.
