Alfred and Heike in Sandness have an amazing garden and they very kindly gave us some samples so Jill got planting. There are even 4 blackcurrants so we hope they take.
There are also various willows and poplar trees.
The bathroom is coming on and we have discovered the stone was covered internally with plaster. Currently we have to leave water off most of the time as the loo leaks but it won't be long. The water board also finally located out stop cock that was 10ft under the soil. We now have a new modern one that we can turn off!
The little barns small section is now empty and it's such a cool space. Much better than the rammed with rubbish barn that it was.
