It's a sign

Jill popped out for a wee walk down to the beach this morning and added Arctic Tern and dunlin to garden list. Nice!

It was good to see that the Ringed Plover are now Nesting so Jill avoided that bit of beach but they are very nosy if you sit down.

It had been mentioned that the beach is a reaaly good place for beachcombing. First attempt:

Back at the house the recycling project to make a house sign was finally finished. It is making use of the heavy stone slab from the old cooker.

Then it was time to start on the Nissan hut so we can use it as a storage space  it was a bit of a mess but is now getting there.  Guess we have enough for another bonfire!

Lots of heavy work deserved a bit of a break so with the wind dropping and the sun  staying out we headed off to our favourite place , the Sandness area for the evening.  Tide was high but still good things about.

There were 3 seals in the bay and only one rock so the other 2 were getting frustrated. We did getting to see some good interaction when one of them leapt right out of the water at speed - maybe practising getting out of the way of orcas.

Scenic trip out

Still snow on the ground so there has been nothing going on with the house. Unfortunately the new tablet Rob has been on for his heart made...
