Flushed with joy

 Two really busy days.

Jill and Connor have been  hard at work clearing the Nissan hut and the stable block. There will be plenty more for bonfires but we can  now see what space there is and it's awesome. Still lots to do though. Stage 2 to stage 3

Connor has been invaluable helping with getting the heavy  rubbish out.

Our lovely Post lady Catherine offered us the use of her shower. It was amazing. We popped down the road late afternoon and ended up staying for  a splendid meal and got home around midnight. That's why there was no blog yesterday. We had a lovely time with our new neighbours, and saw a bit of aurora on the way home.

Jill had a quick walk this morning to the cliffs. It was quite blowy. The Arctic terns where flying on the spot.

This afternoon the plumbers popped by and did the start of the work so the old bath is now out and they diverted the bath tap water to the toilet so it now, very excitingly, flushes. They have worked out how to get the old heating out, found the stop cock, and will will soon be able to have the bathroom put in. Very exciting.

Scenic trip out

Still snow on the ground so there has been nothing going on with the house. Unfortunately the new tablet Rob has been on for his heart made...
