Macaroni Pie

 Jill was advised by a good friend to try a delicacy- Macaroni pie. Today one was found so it was only right to give it a go. It was actually surprisingly nice, although the baked beans in the bottom were a surprise

We did a bit of shopping and chased around for some phones as they went missing in the move, of course we will find them next week.  We also didn't find it very easy to buy the interlinked smoke alarms that are a legal requirement since Feb 22nd. There aren't any and no one can get them! 'No chips you know'. Luckily we managed to find somewhere that had a sander so we can start on the woodwork to get it ready for painting

This afternoons task was tackling the cooker as the weather is - well, just nasty. We attacked the cupboards and managed to find it a hole. It needs a tidy up but it will do for now. Jill has an idea for the area of missing worktop that was under the old hob. Will see if it works tomorrow, if the wind drops enough so we can open the outside door.
