Good news!

 Today Westside Electrical very kindly fitted us in to make our electrics safe. They fitted us a RCD to make it so if there is a problem it trips instead of shocking us! They also safety checked all our sockets and the good news is we only have 2 that don't work and the wiring is actually OK so we won't need to do a total rewire. Bless them, they also found time to wire in my oven. Yay! They even set the clock. We just need to cut a lump out of the worktop to fit it in and remove the old hob.

Also BT came today and connected the line and broadband  its slow but works - we have ordered a 4g router.

We have to go and buy a telephone tomorrow as the box with ours in can't be found anywhere.

Now something sad. Tomorrow we think ducky has to go.
