Windows ordered.

Rude awakening this morning thinking there was a very low military plane making the bed shake a bit but it turned out it was a 5.2 earthquake between Norway and Shetland

We headed into Lerwick to sort out a few bits and pieces including council tax - which includes water and is cheaper than Norfolk. Also bought a post box as the poor postman probably broke his arm off trying to open the outer door this morning.

Headed back to Watsness via Walls  and went and signed on with the GP surgery. They gave Rob an appointment straight away which was super and unexpected.

At the house we met with Michael our lovely builder who measured up for our windows and doors. We will, in about 8 weeks, be able tol say goodbye to all the expanding foam we have used!

We didn't have much time left so did some scrubbing and braved the washing of an internal door which was covered in soot, dirt and nicotine. Think we will get them dipped.

Three twite and 2 Shetland wrens in the garden today.
