Not Watness but watamess!

Slight late start as it was Sunday and drove slowly from Brae to Watsness to take in the stunning views.

Got straight to work ripping off wallpaper to see what was underneath, brushing off hanging paint from the ceiling and a sojourn into the attic. First time up there and it was quite interesting. Found a stack of old 78's a metal bath and a long dead brass bed- oh and a toy cow. One success, found the attic hatch, so now firmly in place. It really is a massive space.

Jill had a little wander going north up the coast towards Dale of Walls. Very wind assisted but bracing and beautiful blue skies. She was watched for a while by a curious grey seal and had fleeting glimpses of an otter

We had a visitors during the afternoon. Chris and his wife came to have a look at the mess. (We met Chris in Jewsons). They have done up their own manse so were curious to see how bad ours is.

We stopped a little early today as Rob was really tired but he had managed to help by yanking off some wallpaper and sorting some of the kitchen cupboards. Headed back to Brae for a visit to Frankies for a lovely burger
