Even those born on Shetland are getting cheesed off with the weather. Still windy and still wet. But still good seas
We popped to Melby just for an hour yesterday. It was quiet .
Today we did some cleaning and ironing before heading to town to try and refund the Bonapartes Gull that has been in Lerwick. We tried several locations and didn't find it but we had a nice shag, hooded crow and turnstone
We were heading home as there was no news from anyone else either as but decided one last look near Shetland Catch. We put out a few bits of bread to watch the other gulls while we were waiting and some black headed gulls came in
Followed quickly by the Bonapartes. It only stayed a very short time.
It did reappear again but stayed even less time.
