Complications

 We have issues with the car. The RAC are supposed to have taken it down South to get the issues sorted, mostly software. Although they have told motability they have taken it away, it is still on the driveway. We got fed up  waiting, so headed to town to book a ferry, and have sorted out the repair booking ourselves. The courtesy car hasn't arrived either so we checked with Skoda that it's safe to drive in the meantime.

All booked up , it didn't take long. The updates apparently take 2 days!

We did the booking and then did some birdwatching on the way home. Lots of geese again including 24  white fronts, a bean goose and a pink foot 

We got some beautiful long tailed ducks on the way home.

We found a pair of goldfinches whilst driving and had distant views of coot.

There are still unusual numbers of Fieldfare about and the bar tailed godwit  was still at Melby.
