So lucky to live here

We took our friend Sean to Yell today to try and find him the eyebrowed thrush but unfortunately there was no sign.

We decided to stay on the island and pottered about. The crossbills and flycatchers had also gone. The seals were there though.

We did also spot some Lapwing chick's.

We had seen there was a small colony of Puffins at Burravoe so we headed South of Yell to go and find them. It is a beautiful place.

You can just see the Skerries from there.

We had a nice merganser.

Sean spotted a baby rabbit alone at the top. It clearly wasn't ok and was in shock. Very thin too. We tried to work out the likely burrow or parent and saw nothing.

Lots of gulls round waiting to finish it off so it got popped in a pocket.

We found a different parking  spot which is closer so we can get Rob there next time which is awesome.

Then we found some new beaches. Jill loves beaches and the one near Burravoe had really sparkly sand with mica in it. Just gorgeous. Spot the cafe!

Then we went for a look at West Sandwick. Also gorgeous.

We drove straight onto a ferry so got back early which gave us the opportunity to go to Eshaness.

We stopped for some goats milk for bunny and dropped Sean off.

Jill has managed to get Rabbit to feed so we have fingers crossed. Maybe the beautiful sunset is a good omen.
