Hail storms and more snow today but it isn't lying much thicker. The hail hurts though when driven by 40mph winds!
Surprisingly there was enough gaps in the clouds tonight to get an aurora. Unfortunately, there was a red alert while Jill was cooking tea and didn't spot the phone messages. However, there was another show at 8pm so Jill rushed outside to freeze in the wind to get these few. Not the usual slow shutter speed so had to cheat as the wind was horrendous. Very high iso's!
Rob watched from the upstairs window.
Warming up inside now, and no, Jill isn't going out again as she has hail stone bruises!
