Visiting

 Busy weekend.

Jill has been busy on social media trying to find the owner of the white and black cat, with no luck. It will get scanned tomorrow, fingers crossed.

 Update. Owner found. Yay

We had a nice Friday morning wake up call.

The new bed headboard is perfect for scaring the crap out of your owners!

Friday was usual appointment day with Rob visiting Podiatry and the eye clinic. The damage caused by the sepsis is healing so it's looking good. His eye infection has all cleared up.

We had a nice bonus on the way in. A Velvet Scoter at the Brig O Waas.

Jill found a bit of time to pop to the charity shop and found a lovely Christmas wreath. Bargain at £3 and a new Geri bed so she can sleep near Jill!

We had an appointment with our super MP Alastair.  The grant for the solar panels is not going to plan and we are still stuck in the middle of planning refusing to allow them on the roof and the grant people refusing to put them on the ground. When we have no neighbours and it's only a C listed house it all seems very petty and actually stupid. Alastair agrees and going to set up a meeting. We also asked for some advice about the issue with ohme and our car charging point. A real help.

Then, told you we've been busy, we went to visit our friend Penny. Her house is now toastie warm and nearly painted. Looking lovely. We sorted Robs dirty boot out so he doesn't wreck the new carpet. We think it's very on trend.

Saturday we wasted most of the day sorting charging out. Won't bore you with the details but it didn't go to plan with broken charging units and no phone signal to use the app to pay for a charge. Sigh. This meant we didn't get any birdwatching in and left late to go visiting.

It was blooming windy and wet too for in and outing of the car. Jill got absolutely soaked. Super sea though!

Could watch it all day.

We had a smashing evening with our friends at Mossbank. Mark makes super dooper cocktails so we talked too much and tried lots of his specialities. Jill officially loves Mojitos. Sarah gave up her crafting room for us so we didn't have to drive back. Cracking evening with awesome company.

This morning we woke to snow. It was very patchy but was laying on the roads so we got to try out the four wheel drive capabilities of the Skoda. All good .

We dropped a sample canvas in for a potential customer and ate lunch at the harbour. Lots of shags and long tailed ducks.

The light was terrible.

On the way home we found a very obliging hare in winter coat.

There were a few bits and bobs at Mekby including s distant otter but the sea was very rough.

Geri was very pleased to see us
