Scenic trip out

Still snow on the ground so there has been nothing going on with the house. Unfortunately the new tablet Rob has been on for his heart made his leg swell and the fluid caused his newly healed foot to open again. Sigh. Not quite so bad this time though.

We went and discussed roof trusses in town while we were there and then we stopped by the GP for a new prescription

Today, collecting the prescription meant we had time out for a wander.

We started at Melby,  where we got our first Shetland Grey Plover.

. The coast was weird as Sandness has no snow but Ronas Hill was covered

There were a few long tailed ducks about, a Dunlin, Seals and lots of twite.

There were 11 Whoopers at zbousta having fun breaking the ice.

We headed to town and had lunch on the harbour watching the gulls. The weather turned nasty and it as almost dark by 2pm.

We watched the freight ferry leave early to outrun the weather.
