Rock breaker

Weve continued working on the foundations.

Rock breaker extraordinaire , Jim, attacked the bits of bedrock with everything we had, and some we didn't, so Jill went to buy a pick!

It's looking good now. Jill had a go too and busted out some bits. The area also got levelled

Some big rocks came out!

Bruce got the string out and set the foundations up ready for the blocks to go on .

Jill also worked on tidying g up the laminate flooring edges.

There was time for Jill to squeeze in a walk to the Skerries and beach

It was quiet on the way out but lots to see on the way  back. Hundreds of fulmar and shag, Arctic terns, bonxie fly past, twite, wheatears and seals. The rock pipit families are doing well and Mrs tuftie still has all 11 ducklings.

Jill brought some rubbish back from the beach too

Then it was a nice evening watching some Olympics.
