Yup it as foggy all day, and pretty thick too.
We left earlyish and picked up our friend Sean .
First port of call was Lerwick looking for a red backed Shrike. We heard it but it didn't show. There were a few other bits around.
Never had Waxwings in spring before.
Then it was down to Clumlie to look for a Wryneck that we couldn't find in the fog.
A quick peer over the cliff for cheesed off looking pffins and then down to Grutness which was great. Lesser Whitethroats anywhere and blackcaps. Also a pair of chiff chaff.
There were also lots of chiff chaff at Quendale also jumpy pied flycarchersxand a redstart.
