Early start

Yesterday, we had an early start as we had a drop off at the airport. Rob had 3 hospital appointments with xray, podiatry and the eye clinic so we had a couple of hours to kill. A quick trip to Grutness gave 2 pairs of teal.

The beach at West Voe had a goodly number of courting Goldeneye and turnstones.

Spiggie was busy also with Goldeneye, Wigeon and Whoopers.

Robs appointments went well and we had a good day discussing how far we have come in the last two years. Yes, the 15th was the day we started our move to Shetland.

Today the weather was stunning, so it was outside tidying up, chopping broken wood and pallets, bit more painting and washing out.

As it stayed lively we had a short afternoon jaunt to Melby . Lots of hares enroute..

Then at Melby we had 3 Red throated Difers, 2 Great Northern Divers, Long- tailed Ducks, Mergansers and lots of waders. It was a great afternoon.
