Bit of a cold

Rob has a bit of a cold so we had a bit of a drive out to get some fresh air but didn't go too far on Sunday. We did the local patch of Sandness and Melby. It was actually quiet but it was good to see the Shaldars are back for the spring but there were still some winter visiting long tailed ducks about and a red throated diver..

When heading to Lerwick, we spotted several mountain hares by the roadside.

Rob had a hospital appointment late afternoon ( yes, on a Sunday) so we went looking for white winged gulls and found one Iceland and one Glaucous along with the usual.

Jill befriended a struggling gull with , only, only one foot. It was doing OK though.

Jill took a quick walk up the Lodberries.

Robs appointment went well. It was checking on his back since the accident and its fine.

We the went for a lovely take away with our friend Penny. Her new house is starting to look like a lovely home.

Today Jill started with the cold and had a massive headache. Yuk! So it was actually back to bed.

Bruce got on with preparing the wall for plasterboard and finishing the insulation. ( Jill did some when she got up!.
