End of a great visit

Yesterday we did some more beachcombing at Reawick, Redayre  and Sandsound beaches. Have to say the wind was a bit chilly.

Then we headed to town to visit the museum. Actually, Jill hadn't been before and was surprised at how good it was . A super facility and it's free entry.

We had a lovely Chinese meal before coming home.

Today was Roanna's last day  and we woke to a sprinkling if snow. We stayed local and went for a walk at Burrastow. It was beautiful and there were a lot if seals about.

After a quick lunch, we headed back to town via Gulberwick and  sound. Sad to see lots of plastic washed up on both beaches. A deceased bird made us think before we realised it had been sprayed for removal.
Thought we'd found a new species for a minute!

A wee bit of touristy shopping and then off to the ferry to say our goodbyes. It might have been a winter visit but we packed a lot in. It was amazing.
