Put some gloss on it

 This morning Jill added the wooden decors to the fireplace and gave them the first coat of varnish.

Then it was a coat of gloss on the skirting.

Bruce sorted the edge of the electric cupboard and straightened it out so it's nice and square.

Rob had a cardiology appointment today . All good but his potassium is high again. We did a bit of birdwatching round Lerwick only finding common stuff.

Then we headed for a quick stop at Da Gairdin. The autumn colours were looking good and there were still some flowers.

Rob then had a check on his foot so we had a little potter locally. We didn't go far as it kept raining and the wind picked up. We watched the seal for a while playing in the surf where the freshwater burn comes out.
