Nice evening walk.

 No builders today so there wasn't much activity although Jill worked on the stairs.

Still lots to do. The original varnish we tested on the bottom few stairs needs to come off too as it has worn badly. We will use wax oil on the stairs and landing once it's all ready.

The weather was OK so the cats have been out and about. They weren't impressed with polecat in a trap number 2. It was a really smelly one.

Don't let that face fool you. It was trying to bite and was making a heck of a lot of noise - along with the smell.......

This evening was quite nice. We forgot we didn't have the usual Tuesday  surgery appointment and went for it. So we continued on for a bit of birdwatching. Not much about accept for a Goldeneye. Lovely reflections though.
