Veery nice

Jill managed to get another coat of undercoat on in the porch this morning. Bruce popped in while ee were out to do the woodwork round the door. Then it was off for Robs appointment. We bought a new trap!

While we were in Lerwick, news broke of an American Thrush at Lunna. So we headed out.. Another special bird day and Jill's number 400 for Britain. An American Veery.

It unfortunately liked dark places!

Pretty impressive to cross the road and puck up on the Orcas going past.

Home via Co-op for some food and then early.to bed. Off to Fetlar tomorrow . We hope the Tennessee warbler is still there.

What a good day.
