We had a jaunt to Lerwick today for Robs MRI scan in the van visiting from the mainland and the cars service - boring but necessary.
We left Bruce and Jim hard at work. Painting, sorting out the new bathrooms waste pipe ( still clean luckily), more chipping in the porch and last coats of paint on door frames.
The front is all covered now. Yipee. ( apart from the bit round the pipe)
After our appointments we stopped briefly at lickimin to see if there were any mugrsnr birds about. 4 Willow Warblers and some Siskin but all well hidden. Lots of Wrens, Meadow Pipits and Starlings though. Jill also found the Troll house left by a 6 year old visitor from York.
On the way home we had a quick stop at Sandness and Melby. Lots of Waders still, Oystercatchers and wheatears which have found out are called Stinkles or chaks.
