Migrants

There were quite a few migrants in today. Coming in with the wind. So  after an appointment this morning we went down to Sumburgh to see a Barred Warbler and a Greenish . Both showed well.

There were lots of Wheatears and Wren families in the quarry too.

Then down to Grutness for a non showy Red backed Shrike.

And a large white butterfly.

A quick stop at Hoswick Burn just added Willow Warbler to the day.

As we weren't leaving, news of dolphins just off Mousa came out so we were very close so we had our first visit to Noness for around 20 Rissos Dolphins.

And a rabbit..

A beautiful spot to end a lovely day. ( apart from the bitey things)
