Bit of Ruff and layout.

Bit chilly today, Autumn seems to have arrived early.

Nordri where here unexpectedly to finish up the electrics. Last light fitting up, towel rail in and sockets all sorted.

This made it a bit tricky for Bruce as we had the electricity on and off but he still managed to get the last upstairs door in.

Now we have a bit more done we will explain where we are at.
The three bedrooms upstairs will be  part of the self catering unit eventually. The green room will be a double, the blue room will be a twin and the dusky pink room a kingsize. The 4th room upstairs is the units bathroom.

They will have their own entrance through the front porch which accesses the ground floor where hhe lounge/kitchen diner is.

There will be a 2nd emergency exit into the small lobby.
Our part of the house will be a downstairs bathroom and bedroom in the original house and a lounge in the old kitchen extension that already exists. Soon we will knock down the porch on the back of the house to create a new entrance in a new lean too extension with a new kitchen diner/ office/ utility for us. This will also house a bathroom which will be accessed by the guests in the stable which we still hope to convert into  bod ( bunk barn).
Hope that makes sense but it will be easier to explain with some videos maybe when we are closer to opening
After Robs usual Friday appointment  we had a lovely lunch and decided to see if we could find any puffins before they disappear this year.
We found some on the sea and one or two where still on the cliffs.

There was also a very showy wheatear,  lots of Fulmars, Bonxies and Twite.

Then we had a look at Virkie and Grutness. Lots of Dunlin about and also Ruff, Bar tailed Godwit, Sanderling, Turnstone, Ringed Plover as well as Red.
 throated Diver.
