Truly gnarly morning with lots if fog and rain. We had decided to go and watch the tall ships leave as they are only here every 12 years but unfortunately the weather put a dampers on it. The organisers cancelled it for safety reasons and because some replacement Crews hadn't arrived due to the usual flight cancellations.
In the end some ships decided to just sort of slope off at various times of the day. Sad there were so few sails up but we saw a lot of them leave.
