Glorious day

The sun shone all day today.

Bruce and Jill worked together tidying up the paint work upstairs and finishing the coving. Bruce also put the coving up in the bathroom.

While Bruce was doing that; Hill was outside painting the back of the shed and moving the last of the stone pile. The chickens helped.

Today's find was just by the shed.

And another net.

Rob went for a snooze so Jill popped to the shop for some milk and then out for some  wildlife watching.

It was an amazing evening with everything coming stupidly close. 2 otters, a hare leverett, grouse, lots of curlews and arctic Skuas.

The otters were  not paying attention to the extent that whilst tucked under a stone wall, one dog otter actually brought his super to the bank less than 6ft away. He ate with his back to the wall o lying noticing Jill as he kept. Awesome. The other came through twice and Jill had to encourage it off the road the 2nd time.

It was a stunning evening too.

Busy day planned tomorrow.
