Timber!

Another lovely day. Bit of a breeze and lots of sun.

Jill got to work tidying and moving the timber pile so it doesn't block the gate and dries out. It's for the extension. It was blooming hard work so it was lucky Bruce was back to help with some of it.

Bruce also did the last bit of stud work upstairs while Jim worked in the porch. The new sill will fit perfectly.

We had a visitor today. He lived next door for quite a while and knew Sonny well. ( the previous owner) It was lovely to hear some more about him. He was pleased with the way the house was coming along.

After Robs foot check at the surgery we drove to Melby. It was lovely and there was lots of Arctic Skua activity.

There were lots of waders making the most of the freshwater in the burn.

Quite a few gannets too.

Some nice bits and bobs on the way home.

Unfortunately tea wasn't such a success. Jill had to have a rethink!!
