Jolly day out

Sun was shining so we took a couple of ferries and had a lovely day on Fetlar. First stop was for Arctic Terns that are all pairing up.

It was  lovely to see that some of the Red Necked Phalaropes are back for the summer although they were distant.

We saw some beautiful Golden Plover, Eider, Ringed Plover and Oystercatchers.

We had a lovely lunch in the Cafe and the headed back . The sea was very busy with lots of guillimots, divers and gulls.

The sun shone all day. Batteries recharged after a relaxing day!
