Beautiful, beautiful day with a slightly chilly wind. We needed cheering up today so left mid morning and headed ro Unst to see if we could catch up with the Black Crowned Night Heron
It started amazingly with brilliant views of otter at Walls Bridge. Just after Jill said we wouldn't as the tide was really low!
It was a privilege.
We then headed to Unst. Some lovely shags at the ferry.
We didn't catch up with the heron but it was a lovely day.
When we got home, we were excited to see what Jim had been up to as he is a glutton for punishment and is doing some extra days.
He had done some work on the door and on the stone for the exposed wall using stone cleaning acid. It makes so much difference.
He has also placed the wiggly bit.
