Amazing talent

Last night we did see a peerie aurora. It was even visible over the house.

We didn't stay out too late though. It was cold!
Today we headed out for some birdwatching. The Sniw Buntings were on the driveway again.

We started at Sound looking for a firecrest, but we didn't find it. When to a new part of the Burn though.

There were several chaffinches and a pair of jumpy Bramblings.

We had a quick look at Pullars Loch snd found a handsome male Goldeneye and a ridiculously close Curlew.

. It was good to see guillimots and Razorbills back at Sumburgh

We saw our first lambs at Quendale. Nice views on the way home too. Spiggie beach

Jim did an extra day today working on the walls in the lounge. It was dark when we got back , so, no photos yet.
We had an excellent anniversary meal at Thd Great Wall and then returned for the social evening with superb entertainment from local youngsters and the Lerwick Drama group.
