Last window in

 We had to wait to remove the last window til we moved tonour new bedroom. So, today was the day. Michael changed it out today and there is less draught already.

Bruce worked on putting cement board in the fireplace.

Then vermiculite insulation was put down around the flue and a cap  put on.

Jill spent the morning bagging up some more peat and moving bags of slate as there is lots of tidying to do ready to start the extension

Rob had to go to the surgery so we did a bit of wildlife watching  en-route as the sun was shining.

The wind picked up and we are VERY grateful that Bruce came back to secure the scaffolding boards. The wind was lifting them vertically!!! Many thanks Bruce.

 It was so windy the cats stayed in and chilled. Morgan found some sun.
