Good job

It was back to kitchens this morning with another van unload. Our nice new bedroom is currently storing kitchen doors, drawers and appliances to make sure they don't get damp.

It was then back to town for the last units. The lovely guys in Garrioks helped to take off the last work top which we think weighs about 150kg . Very kind of them considering we are getting the display kitchens as they are closing down.

We wish them well for the future.

We got back just before lunch.  Next week we need to go and get the worktops.

On our return Jim and Bruce had decided to continue on the insulating of the downstairs lounge but there was concern at the windows upstairs leaking under the frames. The window was soon out and then we need to wait for the concrete to dry and then it can be reseated. This has been a problem for a while so we are massively grateful

It can go back in soon.

The good news is that the North gable is now dry. Jim found the hole when he was painting and it has recently rained pretty hard. Brilliant. Just a small damp patch left on the South gable now. It was good to pop up in the attic and see it dry. The sparkies have also put two lights up there.

Unfortunately the emersion tank has stopped working so we hope it can be fixed soon. Back too boiling kettles!
