Yay, no flood

 Well, we had lots and lots of rain overnight. Jill got up a couple of times to check and no water inside. Result, thank you Gary.

Jill had done a bit of sanding on the wood last evening. Bruce and Michael put the top bit on the panelling today. It finishes it off nicely. Now to decide, paint or varnish. Hmmm.




We hope planning appreciate our hard work to be able to reuse the original material from 1902.

It was quite windy today and showery. The waves were really rolling in.


We also now have a wall with lots of holes in.

Jill did a bit more work on the big drop wall. There is a ridiculously huge number of nails, pins, screws and drawing pins to remove/ bash in. After about 30minutes of hammering fingers get really numb! Do you think we have started a new look? Still lots more to do.
