It was a nice start to the day so we left Jim painting the big wall and headed off to see just how many hares we could find. 23!
Got to love them.
The weather changed very quickly so we were soon birding in the snow. We had hail?, rain, sleet, wind and sun , everything but thunder and fog.
We did a few spots in Lerwick and melby.
We picked up a bit of shopping and then popped over to check out Michaels new house and for a visit. He is lucky, it has a lovely view. We thought the village speeding sign was a bit odd though.
Not sure what guidance that gives.
On the way home we did see a smidgen of aurora
Jim had done a grand first reveal coat on the wall and has started filling cracks and holes. It's going to look amazing
