Fixing the destroyed

Work started on putting things back to lovely in the old bedroom. Michael went to get the insulation and Bruce replaced the rotten bits of joist.

We had to go for a foot check at the hospital and a scan on Robs eye ready for his cataract operation tomorrow. We dropped another 20 bags of rubble at the tip.

When Michael got back he and Bruce began putting the insulation under the floor.

It's messy stuff! Next week the new floor can go down.

After a quick lunch at the Everest Noodle bar we visited Garriocks as we heard it was closing down. We  had a look at their sale. Hopefully we are getting a good price on a door, for the extension, and a shower cubicle. It all helps.

Jill did some gloss painting in the hallway this evening as we are out tomorrow evening in the village.
