Day off

 There was no blog yesterday as Jill spent just about all of it in bed ( or in the bathroom ( too much information)). After picking up something nasty whilst away several days of feeling rough finally took their toll.

Today though, feeling better and with the sunshining, we headed off to remind ourselves why we are here.  Oh yes, its beautiful. And there is lots to see. 6 Great Northern Divers displaying at each other, Long tailed Ducks, thrushes everywhere  , over 100 curlews right by the house, Snow Bunting likewise and we connected with two mountain hares less than half a mile from the house. Lovely to see them in their Christmas suits!























Not sure why the coastguard was out  so hope no one is hurt. The pilot did wave though.

 Day finished with  lovely light just before sunset then acouple of aurora checks but nothing yet.
